Join us in a Parade through History with the amazingly talented Jo Morton.
Jo’s love of antique quilts has led her to share her passion of “preserving our ties to the past” as an author, teacher, lecturer and fabric designer. Jo continues her study of our ancestral quiltmaking and creates interpretations of 19th Century quilts by imitating colors and styles from period pieces. Her recreations complement furnishings in country, traditional or contemporary settings.
Jo has so many amazing quilts, it was hard to choose which to make Quilt Dots with! Jo’s designs are now available as Quilt Dots (pins, magnets and bookmarks HERE).
Enjoy a Parade of Jo Morton’s Quilts that inspired the new Quilt Dots!:

And thank you to all who shared their favorite Patriotic Tradition with us last week, the winner of the Quilts Remembered Quilt Dots is: Gail Angrimson and her answer: We love being at my sister’s cabin. Hanging out by the water with the kids. Decorating the boat for the boat parade. Having a chili cookout with families from around the lake. Watching fireworks over the lake. So much fun. It’s also a day I remember my Dad. He died on the 4th of July. I think we watch the fireworks together.
